Building a Wide Bunch Package with Texas Tech

Texas Tech showed off a full three concept package around the three-man Stack alignment against Utah.

First up is a Four Vertical variation. The motion man runs the Bender, with the off-ball stacked player running the Seam.

With the wider stack, the Seam route has space to bend inside against single high looks. This helps separation against man and match coverages instead of having to run straight.

Against the man coverage look from Utah, the Bender is the route designed best to beat it. The quarterback elects to work the isolated X receiver instead. The X wins, but the ball is underthrown.
