Cutup: Lions Wham Concept

Lions Vikings will hopefully be a fun game, with great game plans for each team.

Here is a cutup of the 2022 Lions usage of the Wham concept. Together with Short Trap, they averaged 10 yards per carry with the two concepts.

Cutup Friday (ish): 2022 Lions Short Trap

Here is an example of Wham against a 4-down Over front. The Lions liked to call it against this look most often.

A Wham is a short trap, with the addition of a “Wham” block from the tight end on the 3-technique.
