Cutup Friday: 2022 Miami Dolphins Lookie
The Lookie concept is versatile, and gives star receivers a three way go.
Lookie is an option route for the #2 receiver, in a spread formation (not a stack/bunch).
In The 2022 Miami Dolphins Complete Offensive Manual, I diagram 8 of the variations they called. The image below shows the most common, paired with Stick Nod.
The Dolphins averaged 7.6 yards per attempt with Lookie in 2022.
I picked this concept for a cutup because the Dolphins called this five times in week 1 against the Chargers, by my count. They like to call it for Waddle, but Hill had a rep or two at it too.
