Cutup Friday: 2022 Jaguars Pylon - Sail

Pylon Sail is a versatile concept that can be used in a drop back setting or off various play action sets.

In short, the concept is a vertical shot play designed to open up the deep Pylon route. If the deep defender gets depth and doesn’t bite on the Sail, the offense has a hi-low on the flat defender. This play can be read and taught a few different ways. The following books go into further detail on the concept.
